Double-Dribbling the Harvest Moon
The fact that I don't own a tripod for my camera -- and my strong inability to hold the camera steady -- lead to some very unusual shots. This is the harvest moon that had just come up over the horizon across the street from our house tonight; gives new meaning to the phrase "moon bounce."
Frederick Buechner once wrote, “The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn't have been complete without you.” I'm a 40-something husband and father who is trying to figure out my place at the party and learning all I can along the way about religion, education, politics, and anything else that comes up on the journey.

I think the color of this moon is really interesting. I tried, but failed to get a good moon shot this weekend.
