I May Have the Eyes of an Eagle, But...

...this blurred photo doesn't look like it. Trying to take a long distance photo out of a car window while sitting at a traffic light and avoiding getting other cars in the shot is exactly as difficult as it sounds; hence the hazy nature of this photo (if only photo software would help with that!). After picking MB up at her daycare center this afternoon, I happened to see this hawk sitting -- rather uninterestedly -- on top of a highway sign in the middle of a four-lane road. For once, I had my real camera with me and not the phone, but the location and pressure of knowing the light was about to change didn't help it much.....

I like this shot, the bird looks so inquisitive.

I also really like your subway shot. It is a really cool composition.

Now that is amazing. Not the place I'd expect to see an eagle!

Last week I was rounding the curve in front of our house getting ready to turn in the driveway when I saw a large animal of some sort in our yard. I looked closer and saw a large hawk, just sitting there in the grass. I yelled,"Camera, get the camera!" and dd quickly pulled it out of my purse. Just then the hawk flew away, so no picture. Sigh.
