Hostas
I think hostas are the prettiest when it's early in their annual life. And a touch of rain adds a nice bit to the imagery. We have two types growing in our yard; these two are among the many that got a nice shower overnight.
Frederick Buechner once wrote, “The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn't have been complete without you.” I'm a 40-something husband and father who is trying to figure out my place at the party and learning all I can along the way about religion, education, politics, and anything else that comes up on the journey.

I have a lot of that bottom picture variety, but they are not that full yet. I like how they make the yard look more cared for than it really is.
I love hostas...my mom always had them....they are so lush!
