My yard is full of these little purple blossoms, and yet the weather is still cold with more rain (and possibly snow!) on the way. Just what season is this?!?

My yard is full of them too, but the weather is wet and very cold! I love these little flowers.
They look like pansies. During summer we have tiny pink flowers all over our yard. Huby mows them, but i try to mow around them lol
